Electrical Estimating Manager\n\nLondon | Privately Owned M&E Contractor | Commercial Fit Out · Data Centres · Laboratories\n\nThe Role\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimating Manager to lead some major porjects for our client and oversee part of their estimating team function and support continued growth across commercial fit out, data centre and laboratory projects. This is a key position within a respected, privately owned M&E contractor with a long-standing reputation for quality delivery in London.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and manage the electrical estimating team, ensuring accurate, competitive tenders.\nPrepare detailed cost plans, estimates and tender submissions across Cat A/Cat B fit out, mission‑critical and technical environments.\nReview drawings, specifications and tender documentation to identify scope, risks and opportunities.\nLiaise with supply chain partners for quotations, pricing validation and value‑engineering options.\nWork closely with pre‑construction, design and project delivery teams to ensure seamless handover.\nAttend tender meetings, client presentations and support bid strategy development.\nMaintain up‑to‑date market knowledge on labour, materials, and specialist systems.\nDrive continuous improvement in estimating processes, accuracy and turnaround times.\n\nExperience & Skills\n\nProven electrical estimating experience within M&E contracting (fit‑out, data centres or labs essential).\nStrong understanding of electrical building services, procurement and tender methodology.\nHighly numerate with excellent analytical and commercial skills.\nAbility to manage multiple tenders simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.\nStrong communication skills and confidence engaging with clients, consultants and suppliers.\nLeadership experience or readiness to step into a managerial role.\n\nWhat We Offer\n\nOpportunity to join a respected, stable and privately owned contractor.\nStrong project pipeline across London's commercial, tech‑led and specialist sectors.\nCompetitive salary and bonus - Up to £130,000 on the Salary alone. \nClear progression route as the business continues to expand
