General Contractor

Overview
We are seeking an Electrical Estimator with strong experience supporting heavy industrial and semiconductor construction projects. The ideal candidate has direct experience with large ground up facilities such as Intel, TSMC, clean room environments, data centers, or similar industrial construction programs. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing detailed electrical estimates and validating quantities, pricing, scope, and constructability for complex projects. The Electrical Estimator will work closely with project managers, preconstruction, procurement, and field operations to ensure accuracy and completeness across all electrical pricing packages.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review electrical estimates at conceptual, budget, and detailed levels for semiconductor and industrial projects
• Review electrical scopes of work and subcontractor proposals for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with construction documents and engineering specifications
• Analyze drawings, one line diagrams, P&ID plans and diagrams, schedules, and technical specifications to verify quantities and ensure compliance with design intent
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost assessments for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, grounding, equipment connections, instrumentation, controls, and specialty systems used in semiconductor and clean room environments
• Evaluate subcontractor pricing, labor productivity assumptions, material cost trends, equipment needs, and general conditions
• Identify scope gaps, clarifications, value engineering opportunities, and potential risk items that require coordination with design teams or subcontractors
• Work with procurement to align subcontractor bids with project requirements and to determine accurate scopes of work
• Participate in design reviews and construction planning meetings to ensure electrical scope alignment across disciplines
• Support preconstruction handoff to operations and provide continuity during early site mobilization and long lead electrical procurement
• Maintain estimating databases, unit pricing, and historical cost information for continuous improvement of future estimates

Qualifications
• Strong electrical estimating experience for semiconductor, clean room, data center, or similar industrial construction facilities
• Experience preparing and reviewing electrical estimates for a general contractor or GC preconstruction team
• Proficiency reading electrical plans, one line diagrams, P&ID plans and diagrams, construction documents, and engineering specifications
• Strong understanding of electrical systems used in high tech industrial environments including semiconductor tools, distribution systems, and clean room infrastructure
• Experience reviewing and evaluating subcontractor estimates
• Ability to perform conceptual and detailed estimates with limited design information
• Strong communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced preconstruction environment
• Proficiency with construction estimating software and Microsoft Excel

Work Environment
This role works closely with project leadership, procurement, and field teams and supports multiple ongoing semiconductor and industrial projects during preconstruction and early construction phases. Candidates should be comfortable working in a collaborative GC environment and supporting high visibility industrial construction programs.
