Electrical Shift Leader – London\n\n£48,000–£52,000 + OT + HVAP Allowance | Continental Shift Pattern | Leading FM Provider\n\nAre you an experienced Electrical Shift Leader looking to take charge of critical building services in a fast-paced, high-profile environment This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected FM provider supporting a flagship commercial site in London.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs an Electrical Shift Leader, you’ll oversee a team of multi-skilled shift engineers, ensuring all PPM, reactive and technical operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards. You’ll act as the senior technical point of contact during your shift, delivering high-quality engineering support across a range of critical and non-critical systems.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead and mentor a team of electrical & mechanical shift engineers\n\n Carry out and supervise PPM, reactive maintenance, and fault diagnostics\n\n Manage critical systems including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers\n\n Ensure all LOTO, safe systems of work, and compliance procedures are followed\n\n Complete shift reports, logbooks, permit control, and stakeholder updates\n\n Provide hands-on technical support to maintain site uptime and reliability\n\n Support critical switching operations where required\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\nFully qualified Electrical Engineer (C&G Level 3 / NVQ3 / 18th Edition)\n\n Experience in a critical or data centre environment ()\n\n Strong understanding of electrical & mechanical plant\n\n Ability to lead a team in a high-pressure environment\n\n Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills\n\n HV AP (desirable but not essential)\n\nBenefits\n\nCompetitive salary + shift allowance\n\n Overtime opportunities\n\n Training & HV progression\n\n Opportunity to work on a major London site with long-term stability\n\n Career development within a growing FM business
