Position Overview

SAVI EHS is seeking an experienced EHS Coordinator to support a leading General Contractor on a large-scale data center construction campus in Fayetteville, GA. This individual will take a leadership role in managing and driving the Environmental, Health, and Safety program across active construction phases, ensuring full compliance with OSHA regulations and client expectations.

The EHS Coordinator will partner closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and field teams to promote a proactive safety culture and deliver a best-in-class safety program within a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the site-specific Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program
  • Oversee daily safety operations across multiple scopes including civil, structural, and MEP trades
  • Conduct and review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
  • Perform and document daily site safety inspections, audits, and observations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA (29 CFR 1926), client standards, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions
  • Provide leadership during high-risk activities including crane operations, energized electrical work, and critical lifts
  • Deliver safety orientations, training, and ongoing safety engagement initiatives
  • Mentor and support field safety staff as applicable
  • Track and report safety metrics, trends, and performance to project leadership
  • Utilize platforms such as Procore, HammerTech, or similar systems for documentation and reporting
  • Collaborate with project management to ensure safety is integrated into all phases of construction

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of construction safety experience, with leadership responsibilities
  • Strong experience supporting data center or mission-critical construction projects
  • OSHA 30 (required)
  • OSHA 510 and/or OSHA 500 ()
  • BCSP certification (CHST, STSC, ASP, CSP, or GSP) strongly or in progress
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards
  • Proven ability to lead safety programs on large-scale construction sites
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Experience

  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center campuses
  • Background in electrical/mechanical (MEP) construction and commissioning
  • Familiarity with energized work (NFPA 70E) and energy isolation (LOTO)
  • Experience working directly with General Contractors and large subcontractor teams
