Now Hiring General Maintenance Workers – Join Our Team! (Continuous Hiring)

• Role: Facilities Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing a 600,000 sq. ft. commercial facility.
• Schedule: Onsite, Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM, with occasional weekends and overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, carpentry, drywall, painting, and building fixtures.
• Handle daily maintenance requests and coordinate repairs and facility projects.
• Conduct routine inspections of critical areas (e.g., data center, pump rooms, café) and identify or escalate issues.
• Support conference room setup, cleaning, furniture movement, and event-related requests.
• Oversee and escort contractors performing maintenance or installations.
• Monitor preventive maintenance programs and assist the Facility Manager with inspections and safety compliance.
• Track maintenance requests, maintain tool/supply inventory, and update task lists.
• Ensure the building meets safety standards and operational requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drywall, carpentry, painting, and commercial building maintenance.
• Understanding of workplace safety, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, multitasking, and teamwork.
• Leadership skills and ability to work independently.

Skills

• Knowledge of electrical calculations (voltage, amps, phases, BTUs, cooling loads).
• Understanding of base building systems.

Experience & Education

• 4–6 years of commercial/property maintenance experience (HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting).
• Experience in a financial institution or large law firm is .
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree .
