Job Description

I’m currently working with one of the UK’s leading building services engineering contractors, a business with over 100 years of expertise and a reputation for delivering some of the country’s most complex and high-profile projects across infrastructure, commercial, healthcare, hospitality and data centres.

They are consistently recognised as one of the top major M&E contractors to work for, known for their heritage, reputation and trust to deliver landmark projects nationwide. Following continued success and a recent conversation with their Head of Health & Safety, the business is now expanding its H&S team in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for talented Health & Safety professionals to join one of the most well-structured safety departments in the industry. You will be supporting major Tier 1 projects and working closely with project teams to maintain the highest standards of safety across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide H&S leadership, advice, and guidance across major London projects
• Support the development and implementation of safety management systems
• Carry out site inspections, audits, and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
• Promote a positive safety culture across project teams and subcontractors

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within construction or M&E contracting
• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to work across multiple projects and liaise with stakeholders at all levels
