Miramar, FL (On-Site) | $68,000 – $85,000/yr | Full-Time

 

Are you an HR pro who loves both the people side and the hiring side of the job? Phiston Technologies is growing fast and we're looking for our first in-house HR Generalist / Recruiter to own both functions from day one.

 

What You'll Do

Recruiting (50%)

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for roles across engineering, production, field service, sales, and more
  • Post jobs, source candidates, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and extend offers
  • Build a pipeline of candidates for recurring roles

HR (50%)

  • Be the go-to HR contact for our team across Florida and Virginia
  • Handle onboarding, benefits administration, employee records, and PTO tracking
  • Coordinate with Paychex Flex for payroll-related matters
  • Support HR compliance across FL, VA, and federal regulations
  • Handle employee relations with professionalism and discretion

 

What We're Looking For

  • 3–5 years of HR and/or recruiting experience
  • Comfortable owning both functions independently
  • Solid knowledge of employment law (FL, VA, federal)
  • Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms
  • Strong communicator — written and verbal
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
  • PHR or SHRM-CP a plus
