Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLead Electrical Engineer – Mission Critical
Seeking a senior-level Electrical Engineer to lead the design and integration of modular, mission-critical power systems supporting data centers, e-houses, power modules, and other prefabricated electrical infrastructure. This role owns the full electrical design lifecycle — from single-line diagrams and schematics to component selection, layouts, and code compliance — while partnering closely with manufacturing, supply chain, and field teams to ensure systems are reliable, safe, and built for a modular production environment.
You’ll lead complex electrical design efforts involving UPS systems, switchgear, switchboards, transformers, and distribution equipment; create detailed AutoCAD/Revit-based models and drawings; review vendor submittals and shop builds; and drive standardization and manufacturability across product lines. This role also provides technical mentorship to engineers and designers and serves as a subject-matter expert for critical-power integration challenges throughout design and production.
What you’ll do
-
Lead electrical design for modular mission-critical infrastructure (data centers, power modules, e-houses, skids)
-
Develop and review single-line diagrams, wiring schematics, and layouts for AC/DC critical-power systems
-
Specify major electrical components and coordinate with vendors and supply chain
-
Produce and review AutoCAD/Revit models and construction drawings
-
Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA 70/70E, UL, IEC and related standards
-
Support shop drawing reviews, build reviews, and manufacturing coordination
-
Drive design standardization, DFM/DFA best practices, and scalable system design
-
Mentor engineers/designers and collaborate across engineering, production, and field teams
Qualifications
-
U.S. Citizenship required
-
Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s or PE a plus)
-
8+ years of experience in critical-power systems, modular data centers, or large-scale electrical infrastructure
-
Strong experience with UPS, switchgear, switchboards, and power distribution design
-
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design tools
-
Deep knowledge of electrical codes/standards (NEC, NFPA, UL, IEEE, etc.)
-
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and improve design standards in a manufacturing environment
