About the Role

The Maintenance Planner is accountable for reducing equipment downtime, loss prevention, and related site costs by driving the organization to a planned proactive state, through the use of validated and standardized procedures and planning tools. These procedures rely on the Planner to apply skilled competencies beyond the level of the technician to carefully plan and coordinate workforce, parts, materials, and other resources for their assigned areas of responsibility. This individual is the liaison between Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations; and are responsible for developing and maintaining appropriate job plans, records, and files to permit optimal execution and analysis of all planned work while managing maintenance backlogs. This job contributes to Tates success by efficiently scheduling, coordinating, and tracking the workflow of the maintenance team, auditing PMs for effectiveness and compliance, and ensuring critical PMs and work activities are done on time and in accordance with OEM/ Engineering standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Detailed job planning and preparation- Conduct analysis for job requirements, JHA/ JSA, resource identification and management, time required and time available.
  • Conduct technical review of work to determine the correct repair methods and safety requirements
  • Able to validate work accomplished meets and exceeds standards and completed to high degree of satisfaction
  • Maintain the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) database
  • Support Asset Management, identification, and review
  • Manage and track all aspects of PMs, Work Orders, and Emergency Repairs
  • Generate reports from the CMMS on equipment and mechanic performance
  • Create sub-assemblies and PM routes as needed for all equipment
  • Create, Analyze, or Update PMs on all equipment as needed, and audit annually for effectiveness based on downtime data and equipment performance
  • Manage and assist in planning annual overhauls and rebuilds
  • Support parts identification and parts kitting for planned work
  • Create and maintain historical files
  • CMMS & Preventive Maintenance subject matter expert and trainer. Serves as the system administrator and is responsible for driving 100% CMMS compliance
  • Weekly meetings with maintenance leadership and operations
  • Ensures a balanced workload demand by carefully planning jobs and allocating resources

Additional Expectations

  • Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy.
  • Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands.
  • Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System.
  • Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5 years of experience in preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance planning
  • Experience as an Engineering /Maintenance Supervisor or equivalent experience
  • Strong competencies in technical knowledge and project management
  • Formal and hands-on training in the use of CMMS systems and project tracking
  • Good oral/written communication skills including presentation skills
  • Good administrative and mathematical skills
  • Able to read blueprints and shop drawings
  • High aptitude for detailed paperwork and record keeping
