They are currently seeking a motivated and experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team primarily on data centres.\nJob Description:\nAs an M&E Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of their projects. You will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) construction projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:\nCost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for M&E projects, taking into account materials, labor, equipment, and other relevant factors.\nBudget Management: Monitor project budgets, track costs, and provide regular financial updates to project stakeholders.\nContract Management: Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring that they are fair and in compliance with all applicable regulations.\nProcurement: Coordinate the procurement of materials and services, seeking cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.\nRisk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with M&E projects, working closely with the project team to find solutions.\nVariation Orders: Handle variation orders and change requests, assessing their impact on project costs and timelines.\nCost Control: Implement effective cost control measures to minimize project cost overruns.\nFinal Account: Prepare and negotiate the final accounts for M&E projects.\nReporting: Provide regular financial reports to project managers and senior management.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field (preference)\n3 years of experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.\nStrong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and cost estimation.\nExcellent negotiation and communication skills.\nProficiency in relevant software and tools\nAttention to detail and a strong analytical mindset.\nWhat They Offer:\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\nOpportunities for career advancement and professional development.\nA collaborative and inclusive work environment.\nInvolvement in exciting and diverse construction projects.\nFlexibility and working from home
