Mechanical Project Manager (Outside IR35)

Rate: £500 per day

Location: East Yorkshire

Contract: 10 months (with potential extension)

Start: ASAP / Immediate Start

About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee a large mechanical package for a major project. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical bias and proven experience managing critical environments such as pharmaceutical facilities, data centres, or similarly complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and deliver mechanical packages from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety, and programme compliance.
• Oversee project schedules, cost control, and documentation.
• Report progress to senior management and clients.
• Ensure all works adhere to industry standards and client specifications.

Requirements:

• Strong background in mechanical building services.
• Previous experience in critical projects (Pharma, Data Centre, etc.) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver under pressure.
• Available for an immediate start.
