Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Central London
Company: Tier 1 Engineering Contractor (£80m Annual Turnover)
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Travel + Bonus
Overview
A Tier 1 engineering contractor with an annual turnover of £80 million is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to support delivery across a strong pipeline of commercial and data centre projects in Central London.
The business is known for high technical standards, repeat clients and consistent project flow. This role offers long-term stability, exposure to complex schemes and the opportunity to work within a well-structured project delivery team.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for the mechanical package on allocated projects, managing delivery from early-stage planning through to commissioning and handover.
Key duties include:
Managing mechanical building services projects from pre-construction to completion
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
Overseeing programme, quality and health & safety compliance
Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and design information
Monitoring project costs, variations and reporting
Working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams
Driving commissioning, testing and final handover processes
Requirements
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within an M&E or building services contractor
Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework and mechanical building services systems
Experience delivering commercial and/or data centre projects
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project deadlines
Good commercial awareness and reporting skills
Strong communication and leadership capability
