MEP Design ManagerLocation: Central London / Basingstoke (Remote Working Available)Duration: 3-6 Month Contract (Potential Temp-to-Perm Opportunity)Start Date: Immediate
\n A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Design Manager to support the delivery of two major projects valued in excess of £50m, including a flagship Higher Education development and a landmark Commercial build.This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing project team at a critical stage, with both schemes progressing from RIBA Stage 4 into Stage 5 (Construction).
\n Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage MEP design activities through the construction phase.

\n

• Review technical submissions and monitor design progress against programme requirements.

\n

• Drive consultant and subcontractor design deliverables to ensure project milestones are achieved.

\n

• Manage design changes, technical queries and RFIs.

\n

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers and site teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

\n

• Attend project sites as required to collaborate with delivery teams (not required daily).

\n

About You

\n

\n
• Proven experience managing MEP consultant design within an MEP contractor environment.

\n

• Strong understanding of design management processes from pre-construction through delivery.

\n

• Experience working on large-scale commercial, education, healthcare, data centre or major infrastructure projects.

\n

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

\n

• Able to hit the ground running and provide immediate project support.

\n
