Privately held general contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee large-scale construction projects in Oklahoma. This role is responsible for overall project direction, execution, financial performance, and completion, with a strong emphasis on mechanical and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
• Manage overall project execution, financial outcomes, and performance
• Develop and maintain owner relationships
• Lead MEP coordination and systems oversight
• Review and approve trade contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
• Lead preconstruction and subcontractor coordination meetings
• Oversee job cost setup and budget management
• Review and approve owner pay applications and Schedule of Values
• Develop and manage the master project schedule with field leadership
• Lead change management processes
• Oversee QA/QC program compliance
• Enforce safety standards and jobsite policies
• Mentor and manage project staff
• Manage risk, contracts, and project reporting
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of construction experience
• Proven ability to manage projects exceeding $50M
• Demonstrated MEP construction experience (electrical-heavy )
• Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, and risk management
• OSHA 30 certification
• Strong leadership and communication skills
