Position Summary

Privately held general contractor is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to lead mechanical and electrical field operations on large-scale projects in Oklahoma.

This role is responsible for day-to-day on-site supervision of MEP trade partners, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project quality standards. The MEP Superintendent will play a critical leadership role in managing field coordination, schedule execution, and performance of MEP scopes in complex construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day supervision of MEP trade contractors and field labor
• Manage field coordination of mechanical and electrical systems
• Maintain site logistics plan in coordination with Project Manager
• Oversee quality control and inspection efforts
• Monitor labor productivity and material usage
• Manage schedules and ensure milestone adherence
• Review and verify RFIs and submittals
• Participate in subcontractor and project meetings
• Support preconstruction and estimating efforts as needed
• Ensure required permits and inspections are obtained
• Maintain detailed daily reporting of MEP activities
• Review cost reports to confirm accurate quantities and installed work
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety and injury-free jobsite practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of trade contractor or superintendent-level experience
• Demonstrated MEP skillset and field leadership experience
• Data center project experience required
• Strong knowledge of scheduling and field coordination
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple trade partners in complex environments
