Position Overview

The Project Manager will be based in Charlotte, NC, overseeing commercial new construction roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role works closely with general contractors, superintendents, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing projects from contract award through final completion

• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, and internal stakeholders

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts

• Oversee submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation

• Track labor, materials, and production to ensure project profitability

• Collaborate with superintendents and field teams to support execution

• Ensure compliance with safety programs and quality standards

• Lead project meetings and communicate status updates to stakeholders

• Manage project closeout, warranties, and turnover documentation

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial roofing

• Strong background in new construction projects

• Experience working with general contractors on large commercial builds

• Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously

• Solid understanding of commercial roofing systems and installation methods

• Proficiency with construction/project management software

• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
