Project Manager II | Up to $115,000 USD | USA

The Project & Program Management II role is responsible for planning and coordinating all aspects of data center projects from initiation to delivery. Projects often involve network, server, or software implementation, upgrades and deployment. The role coordinates all implementation processes including asset management, resource allocation, progress tracking, monitoring change control process, documentation, training and on-time delivery within budget constraints. Projects may vary in number, size and complexity.

Responsibilities:

\n

Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours and expenditures

\n

Responsible for asset and material management across data centers and warehouses

\n

Gather and maintain project requirement lists

\n

Provide weekly project updates including action item updates

\n

Schedule and coordinate project reviews and follow up on assigned actions

\n

Effectively and accurately communicate status to the project team

\n

Assist with identifying project issues and mitigate and escalate as needed

\n

Take part in organizing, attending and participating in stakeholder meetings

\n

Collaborate with various regional teams responsible for project resources and ticket resolution

\n

Assist with daily monitoring of ticketing systems, reassign tickets when required

\n

Produce regular reports as required

\n

Assist with identifying trends or recurring problems and escalate appropriately

\n

Assist with locating and defining new process improvement opportunities

\n

Work closely with SDMs/Project Managers to identify critical metrics and KPIs and deliver actionable insights

\n

\n

Skills/Must Have:

\n

Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years' related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

\n

Builds productive internal and external working relationships

\n

Understanding of project management, resolving conflict, and meeting schedule timelines

\n

Ability to work on multiple projects and assignments concurrently

\n

Self-starter who can quickly learn new tools and technologies with minimal assistance

\n

Experience creating spreadsheets, presentation material, and project/process documentation

\n

Strong observational and analytical skills, including attention to detail, metrics tracking and risk management

\n

Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and communicate project updates to client executives

\n

Experience working with Google Suite

\n

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

\n

Previous experience with ticketing systems and/or project management systems

\n

Understanding of or previous experience in a technology-driven environment

\n

Proactive attitude and dependable

\n

Excellent customer service skills

\n

Ability to work both within a team and independently

\n

Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum

\n

Various certifications (PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PPM, CPD, CPMP, etc.)

\n

Familiarity with various project management methodologies

\n

Understanding of the OSI model

\n
