Project Manager - Construction Logistics \n\nLocation: City of London\n Sector: Construction Logistics\n Industry: Building and Construction\n Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum\n\nOverview\n\nOur client is a leading construction logistics specialist delivering complex logistics packages for Tier 1 contractors across commercial fit-out, infrastructure, and data centre projects throughout the UK and Europe.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction logistics packages across multiple projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and programme-driven operations.\n\nWorking closely with Tier 1 contractors, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will manage logistics operations from pre-construction through to project completion.\n\nThe role will be predominantly London-based but will involve fortnightly travel across Europe to support the delivery of major data centre projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nProject & Logistics Management\n\nManaging construction logistics packages across commercial fit-out and data centre projects\nDeveloping and implementing project-specific logistics strategies and delivery plans\nCoordinating labour, plant, materials, and site resources\nManaging logistics programmes in line with project milestones and construction sequencing\nEnsuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget\n\nSite Operations\n\nOverseeing day-to-day logistics activities across multiple projects\nManaging site access, deliveries, vehicle movements, and material handling operations\nCoordinating lifting operations, waste management, hoists, and logistics compounds\nIdentifying and resolving operational challenges to maintain programme delivery\nSupporting mobilisation and demobilisation activities\n\nHealth, Safety & Compliance\n\nPromoting and maintaining the highest standards of health and safety\nEnsuring compliance with all statutory, client, and site-specific requirements\nReviewing RAMS and implementing safe systems of work\nConducting site inspections and supporting audit requirements\n\nReporting & Commercial Awareness\n\nProducing project reports, resource plans, and progress updates\nMonitoring project performance against programme and budget objectives\nIdentifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies\n\nRequirements\n\nPrevious experience as a Project Manager within construction logistics\nStrong experience delivering logistics packages on construction projects\nExperience working within commercial fit-out, major projects, infrastructure, or data centre environments\nExcellent planning, organisational, and stakeholder management skills\nStrong understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery\nAbility to manage multiple workstreams and project stakeholders\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\nWillingness to undertake regular European travel\nFull UK Driving Licence
