We are currently partnered with a global $80B real estate investment manager looking to add a Acquisition Analyst to the team. They invest across the full spectrum of real estate asset classes, including office, multifamily, industrial/logistics, retail, hospitality, and alternative sectors such as data centers, life sciences, and student housing across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The firm is known for its disciplined underwriting culture, entrepreneurial deal teams, and a track record of deploying capital across the risk spectrum, from core to opportunistic strategies.

The Acquisitions Analyst will support all phases of the investment process, from initial sourcing through closing, working directly Vice Presidents and Directors on live transactions.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain complex financial models to underwrite acquisitions across asset classes, including cash flow projections, waterfall structures, and returns analysis (IRR, equity multiple, cash-on-cash).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support investment theses, including rent comps, sales comps, supply/demand dynamics, and macro trends.
- Prepare investment committee materials, including offering memoranda summaries, deal screens, and formal IC presentations.
- Support due diligence workstreams, coordinating with legal, tax, engineering, and third-party consultants to identify and quantify deal risks.
- Assist with capital markets activity, including debt financing analysis and coordination with lenders and equity partners.
- Track pipeline activity and maintain deal databases used for portfolio-level reporting and strategic planning.
- Participate in property tours, broker meetings, and management calls as part of the deal team.

Requirements:

- 1 - 2 years of experience in a real estate acquisitions, asset management, or investment banking M&A.
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university, strong academic record (finance, real estate, economics, or related field ).
- Advanced financial modeling skills; direct Argus Enterprise experience is a strong plus but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple live deals under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present analysis clearly to senior stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and genuine interest in real estate as an asset class.
