Regional Director – Electrical Construction – Tennessee

Gryphon Oakwood is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to identify a Regional Director to oversee regional operations and drive the continued growth and performance of the business. Reporting directly to the Vice President, this executive will have full responsibility for branch operations, financial performance, project execution, and team development while serving as the primary leader for clients, employees, and key stakeholders across the region. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven operations leader with strong P&L ownership, electrical construction expertise, and a passion for developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:

- Lead regional branch operations with full P&L responsibility, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, billings, AR/AP, margins, and financial performance
- Oversee the successful delivery of multiple electrical construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, vendors, and subcontractors to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Lead estimating efforts, change order negotiations, contract execution, and project risk management
- Partner with project teams to drive effective scheduling, resource planning, and project execution utilizing Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and pull planning methodologies
- Champion preconstruction initiatives including VDC/BIM coordination, prefabrication, kitting, and technology driven construction solutions
- Collaborate with executive leadership and regional peers to support strategic initiatives, operational excellence, and long-term business growth

Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent electrical construction industry experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within electrical construction or a related specialty contractor
- Proven success managing multiple large scale commercial or industrial construction projects simultaneously
- Strong P&L management experience with responsibility for budgeting, forecasting, profitability, and operational performance
- Strong background in estimating, change management, scheduling, and project financial management
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, and construction management software & technologies
- Experience delivering mission critical, data center, healthcare, industrial, or large commercial electrical projects is highly
- Willingness to travel throughout the region as needed
