Senior Creative Executive - Animation, Amazon MGM Studios
Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Amazon MGM Studios also produces and acquires Original movies for theatrical release and exclusively for Prime Video.
Our Japan Local Originals team is now seeking an exceptional Senior Creative Executive to focus on Animation Series and Movies. This pivotal role involves managing the entire lifecycle of local productions, from sourcing and development to execution, reporting directly to the Head of JP Local Animation.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in content development, as a lead producer with a comprehensive understanding of the domestic TV and film landscape. We're looking for someone with proven creative instincts in selecting, developing, producing, and greenlighting projects, coupled with strong interpersonal skills and established industry business relationships. This Tokyo-based position requires a dynamic, outgoing, and self-motivated individual capable of juggling multiple high-priority tasks in a fast-paced environment.
The successful applicant will oversee numerous projects in various stages of development and production, manage a high volume of submissions, and attend frequent meetings with industry professionals. About the team
Amazon MGM Studios Japan is the Tokyo-based production and development arm focusing on local Japanese original content for Prime Video. The studio produces both scripted and unscripted content, including anime, aiming to deliver high-quality local stories to both domestic and international audiences.
