Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, fast paced mission critical engineering projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in data center or mission critical infrastructure, capable of managing multiple multidisciplinary projects while serving as a trusted partner to clients and internal teams.
The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from concept through completion, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, budget control, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage mission critical, data center engineering projects from planning through delivery
Serve as the primary client point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and driving repeat business
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables
Coordinate across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and controls disciplines
Monitor project financials including budgets, change management, and forecasting
Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements
Collaborate with principals and leadership on strategic planning and project execution
Mentor and guide project managers and engineers, fostering professional growth
Support proposals, workload planning, and long term client development initiatives
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in project management within engineering, MEP, or mission critical/data center environments
Proven experience managing large, technically complex projects (hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, or similar)
Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, redundancy concepts, and fast track delivery models
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
Proficiency with project management tools and financial tracking
Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Qualifications
PMP, PE, or equivalent professional certification
Direct experience working with owners, developers, and operators in the data center space
Experience in a fast growing consulting or engineering firm environment
