About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client in Berlin, delivering world-class data centre projects across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the fastest-growing sectors in construction, working with a leading international contractor at the forefront of high-technology builds.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of major data centre developments—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all cost planning, budgeting, and commercial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead procurement, tendering, and contract administration activities for key subcontract packages.
• Provide detailed cost analysis, value engineering, and risk management input.
• Work collaboratively with project management, engineering, and client teams to ensure commercial success.
• Prepare and present accurate monthly valuations, forecasts, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, legal obligations, and internal financial controls.
• Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within large-scale construction or M&E projects.
• Proven experience delivering data centre, pharmaceutical, or high-tech infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC or NEC contracts and European procurement regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; German skills are advantageous but not essential.
• Eligibility to work in Germany or within the EU.
