Site Engineer – Midlands\nPermanent | Tier 1 Main Contractor | Landmark Projects\n\nAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 main contractor with a strong pipeline of high-value projects across the Midlands.\n\nThis is a permanent position offering long-term career progression, exposure to major construction schemes, and the chance to work with one of Ireland’s most established and respected contractors.\n\nAbout the Company\n\nWith over 90 years of experience in the construction industry, this contractor has delivered complex and technically challenging projects across commercial, pharmaceutical, healthcare, data centre, and civil infrastructure sectors. Known for their collaborative culture and commitment to quality, they are expanding their engineering team to support growing activity across the Midlands.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou’ll be an integral part of the site delivery team, supporting engineering activities on large-scale projects. Reporting to the Senior Engineer and Site Manager, you will ensure works are set out correctly, built to spec, and progress according to programme.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Set out works accurately in accordance with project drawings and specifications\n\n * \n\n Coordinate with subcontractors and the design team to resolve technical issues\n\n * \n\n Maintain detailed site records including as-built drawings, QA documentation, and reports\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality procedures\n\n * \n\n Support the Senior Engineer and site management team in day-to-day site operations\n\n * \n\n Attend daily briefings and contribute to site meetings\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field\n\n * \n\n 2+ years’ experience in a site engineering role, preferably with a main contractor\n\n * \n\n Proficient in the use of setting out instruments (e.g., Total Station, GPS)\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications\n\n * \n\n Good communication and teamworking skills\n\n * \n\n Must have a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel to site locations across the Midlands\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * \n\n Permanent role with a Tier 1 contractor\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits\n\n * \n\n Work on landmark, large-scale construction projects\n\n * \n\n Excellent training and progression opportunities\n\n * \n\n Supportive team environment and strong company culture
