Site Safety Manager

Shirley Parsons is currently recruiting a Site Safety Manager in the Sparks, NV area. The candidate must have extensive experience in data center construction safety experience and be local to the Sparks, NV area.

The Role:

• Assist the Safety Director with oversight and implementation of company safety processes on the jobsite
• Respond, oversee and facilitate appropriate injury management and incident investigation/ communication throughout for the jobsite
• Assist with Managing safety programs through development, implementation, and management of the Company’s safety policies
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local safety laws.
• Provide oversight management for service HSE activities.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to field personnel, and provide all levels of the construction management team with the services and technical advice needed for the proper administration of the Company’s HSE and Injury/Illness Prevention Programs.
• Collaborate with other managers in the division in developing and maintaining a strong safety culture within the service department while ensuring that the Company complies with all applicable federal, state, and local HSE regulations.
• Work with the customer and site general contractor to ensure compliance with their standards and procedures
• Provide safety training as needed at a site level

The Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years of Safety management experience
• CHST certification
• Minimum 5 years construction or maintenance experience in safety or operations, preferably with related industries such as mechanical contracting or similar commercial/industrial construction
