Job\nPurpose:
To\nprovide technical support in the review and production of technical\nand proposal documentation, from initial design through to project\ncompletion, supporting the successful delivery of power resilience\nprojects in accordance with regulatory requirements and good\npractice\nguidelines.
What\nyou'll\ndo:
- Provide\ntechnical guidance and support in the specification, design, and\nintegration of generator systems within data centre\nprojects.
- Analyse project requirements to\ndetermine appropriate generator sizing and recommend solutions that\nmeet client specifications, industry standards, and operational\nneeds.
- Evaluate technical proposals for standby\npower system designs and supplier submissions, ensuring alignment\nwith project requirements, regulatory guidelines, and industry best\npractices.
- Provide technical assistance\nthroughout the lifecycle of installation and commissioning phases,\nensuring the project meets client objectives and quality\nexpectations.
- Assist in the creation of\ndetailed technical documentation for standby power systems (e.g.,\ngenerators, UPS systems), including design specifications,\ncommissioning procedures, and test\nresults.
- Support the continued growth and\ndevelopment of EMCOR UK’s Technical & Design team through\ncollaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovative\nproblem-solving.
- Assist the commercial and\naccount management teams in producing bid submission documentation,\naddressing both technical and commercial elements in line with\nclient specifications.
- Coordinate with internal\nstakeholders to review discrepancies, recommend improvements, and\nliaise with third-party suppliers to clarify or obtain additional\ninformation.
Who\nyou'll\nbe:
- Proven\nexperience working on CDM (Construction Design and Management)\nprojects within construction and building\nservices
- High attention to detail and a\nproactive approach to\nproblem-solving
- Well-developed interpersonal\nand communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across\nmultidisciplinary teams
- Commercial awareness\nand understanding of project cost and value\ndrivers
- Excellent analytical skills and a\nsolutions-focused mindset
- A full UK Driving\nLicence (Essential)
- Valid CSCS\ncard
