Vice President of Commercial Data Center and AI Infrastructure Equipment is a senior executive who leads the commercial strategy, P&L (Profit and Loss), and go-to-market operations for hardware, power, cooling, and compute systems that power high-density artificial intelligence data centers.

- Level: Executive / Vice President
- Focus: Commercial growth, supply chain execution, enterprise partnerships, and specialized AI hardware/infrastructure deployment (GPUs, liquid cooling, high-voltage power skids).
- Core Goal: Drive revenue, secure tier-1 hyperscaler and enterprise accounts, and manage the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of critical mission-critical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial & Business Strategy
\n
- \n
- Own full P&L accountability for the AI infrastructure and hardware equipment business unit.
- Build multi-year commercial strategies to capture rapid market demand for high-density AI compute, liquid cooling systems, and critical power distribution units.
- Forge strategic partnerships with hyperscalers (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Google), colocation providers, and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
- Lead high-value contract negotiations, pricing models, and service-level agreements (SLAs).

Operations & Infrastructure Alignment

- Partner with engineering and product teams to forecast equipment needs, long-lead materials (transformers, switchgear, generators), and supply chain constraints.
- Oversee deployment readiness of high-density infrastructure, ensuring alignment with modern power utilization effectiveness (PUE) and thermal management standards.
- Establish operational metrics, gross margin targets, and asset utilization frameworks.

- Recruit, mentor, and scale high-performing global teams across sales, technical account management, commercial operations, and supply chain.
- Create cross-functional alignment between engineering, finance, procurement, and external manufacturing partners.

Required Qualifications
\n

- Experience: 12–15+ years of progressive leadership in data center /AI infrastructure, critical power/cooling equipment, energy storage, or enterprise hardware sales/operations.
- Financial Acumen: Demonstrated history of managing large P&Ls ($100M–$300M+) and driving profitable revenue growth in high-growth technology sectors.
- Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of data center electrical/mechanical systems (N/Tier redundancy, liquid-to-air/liquid-to-liquid cooling, high-density power distribution) and AI server topologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical discipline; Master’s degree or MBA .
