Electrician – Data Centre Solutions – Farnborough

Our client, a leading provider of technical and facilities management services, is seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join their team in Farnborough. This role will focus on delivering maintenance, repairs, and electrical support within a mission-critical data centre environment.

The Role

The Electrician will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of electrical systems across the site. The successful candidate will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, perform inspections and testing, deliver small-scale installations, and provide fault-finding expertise to maintain compliance and system resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on commercial systems.
• Deliver upgrades, including LED lighting installations.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults effectively.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive tasks.
• Collaborate with management, contractors, and other trades to ensure seamless operations.
• Adhere to all relevant electrical regulations and health & safety standards.

Candidate Profile

• Recognised electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds).
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working as an Electrician in a commercial or critical environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Sound understanding of health and safety practices.
• Motivated to maintain high standards, embrace change, and drive continuous improvement.
