Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct thorough and accurate assessments of clients through interviews and standardized evaluation tools, ensuring comprehensive documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Facilitate and lead consumer groups and workshops, focusing on empowering clients through shared experiences and education, particularly in the realm of perinatal mental health.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, case conferences, and professional development trainings to foster a culture of continuous learning and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Engage in individual meetings as needed with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to provide psychotherapeutic support and address any queries or concerns regarding treatment.
- Assist clients in identifying and accessing social services and community-based resources, fostering relationships with local agencies to enhance client advocacy.
- Work collaboratively with volunteers, interns, and staff members to develop and coordinate programs that respond to consumer needs effectively.
- Establish connections with potential referral sources within the community, including inpatient facilities and outpatient programs, to facilitate seamless transitions for clients.
- Uphold client confidentiality in compliance with ethical standards and relevant regulations, ensuring safety and dignity for all consumers.
- Become familiar with guidelines and standards from JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH, contributing to maintaining organizational compliance and accreditation.
