Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct detailed initial evaluations of clients to assess their mental, emotional, and behavioral health.
- Document each stage of client treatment from intake through discharge to ensure effective tracking of progress.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of clients, which may include interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, promoting a safe environment for open communication and healing.
- Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies based on outcomes and client feedback.
- Work in collaboration with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to formulate cohesive intervention strategies.
- Assist clients with referrals to additional services, as needed, to compliment their treatment plan.
- Provide guidance to family members and caregivers, helping them manage mental health challenges affecting their loved ones.
- Identify any barriers that hinder recovery and develop strategies to address these issues proactively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n
Your primary focus will be on individuals and families experiencing a range of mental health issues, from common disorders such as anxiety and depression to more complex conditions that require specialized intervention. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, each with unique life experiences and challenges. The telehealth format allows for establishing connections with clients in their own environments, enhancing the therapeutic relationship and potential outcomes.
Qualifications\n

- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
- Successful completion of the Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
- A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably within a telehealth setting.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, with experience in AVATAR .
- A solid understanding of co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.
- Familiarity with best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to empathize and connect with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
