We’re looking for a driven and relationship‑focused Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work at the center of the IT ecosystem—partnering with leading OEMs, supporting customer technology initiatives, and helping organizations modernize their infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Sales & Account Management

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of small‑to‑mid‑market and enterprise accounts through proactive outreach, account planning, and ongoing relationship development.
  • Identify customer needs and position relevant hardware, software, cloud, and services solutions offered through our OEM partners.
  • Generate quotes, process orders, and ensure accurate and timely follow‑through on all sales activities.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

OEM & Partner Collaboration

  • Work closely with multiple OEMs (e.g., Dell, Cisco, Lenovo, HPE, Fortinet, Arista, Microsoft, etc.) to align customer needs with the right technologies.
  • Participate in joint sales calls, product trainings, and partner programs to stay current on solution offerings and incentives.
  • Leverage OEM resources—including deal registration, special pricing, and marketing funds—to maximize customer value and deal profitability.

 

Customer Engagement

  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer environments, challenges, and long‑term IT strategies.
  • Provide product recommendations, solution overviews, and basic technical guidance (with support from engineering teams when needed).
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience through responsive communication and proactive problem‑solving.

 

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity tracking, forecasting, and opportunity management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as procurement, logistics, finance, and technical services to ensure smooth order fulfillment and project execution.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • 1–3 years of inside sales, account management, or customer‑facing experience (preferably in IT or technology services).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Comfortable learning new technologies and discussing them with customers.
  • Job is located in Westport, CT; no remote candidates will be considered.

  • Experience working for a VAR, distributor, or OEM.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Net Suite).
  • Understanding of common IT infrastructure components (servers, storage, networking, cloud, cybersecurity).
  • Certifications or training from major OEMs are a plus.
