Our client, a global provider of data centre and critical environment services, is seeking an experienced Integration Manager (Projects) to join their London team. This role will act as the operational representative during the commissioning phase of major projects, ensuring smooth handover to operations, standardisation of processes, and compliance across mission-critical systems.
The Role
The Integration Manager will be responsible for supporting the commissioning and integration of new data centre systems into live operations. Acting as a subject matter expert, the successful candidate will review technical documentation, witness testing, and develop operational procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and effective maintenance of critical assets. This role also includes ownership of the Critical Environments Program, ongoing process improvement, and close collaboration with project, client, and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent operations during commissioning, witnessing SAT, IST, and FAT activities.
- Review and develop operational documentation, including MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs.
- Standardise local health & safety programs in line with corporate governance.
- Create or validate Scope of Service (SoS) for new equipment.
- Develop asset lifecycle programs to optimise cost, risk, and performance.
- Drive quality assurance, compliance audits, and continuous improvement.
- Manage change control processes and ensure risk mitigation.
- Support training programs for engineers, apprentices, and service partners.
- Provide technical input for incident investigations and lessons learned.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and deliver additional opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering within critical environments.
- Proven experience in commissioning, integration, and handover of technical systems.
- Knowledge of HV/LV rules, selectivity, and Arc Flash studies.
- Familiarity with compliance standards and risk management methodologies.
- Ability to produce technical reports, surveys, SOPs, and scenario drills.
- Experienced in incident management, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
