Junior Electrical Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Technician to join our in-house data center team. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their career in a critical infrastructure environment, supporting the operation and maintenance of essential electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and operation of electrical systems, including UPS, generators, and power distribution units
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance tasks
• Support fault finding and basic troubleshooting of electrical issues
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational procedures
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and incidents
• Work closely with senior technicians and engineers to ensure maximum uptime

Requirements:

• Basic electrical qualification or apprenticeship (or working towards one)
• Understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
• Strong willingness to learn in a data center or critical environment
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow procedures
