Key Responsibilities\n

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through telehealth sessions, employing various assessment tools and methods.
- Create and implement personalized treatment plans based on each client's unique needs, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Facilitate regular follow-up sessions to track progress, adjust treatment as necessary, and provide clients with coping strategies and tools to manage their mental health challenges.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Engage clients in both individual and, when appropriate, group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere for healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n
You will work with a diverse clientele, ranging from adolescents to adults, each presenting a varied spectrum of mental health issues. Among them are individuals overcoming substance abuse, managing anxiety and depression, or navigating complex life transitions. Understanding cultural nuances is critical, as you will engage with clients from different backgrounds, making culturally responsive care a fundamental part of your practice.
Qualifications\n

- A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.
- At least four years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a depth of knowledge in mental health treatments and client interaction.
- Strong understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and current best practices in teletherapy.
- Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to navigate sensitive situations with composure.
