Data Centre Project Manager – Scotland (Development & Pre‑Construction)

We’re looking for an experienced Data Centre Project Manager to drive the early-stage development of major data centre projects across the UK. If you have a strong engineering background and thrive in complex, large-scale development environments, this role offers the chance to shape some of the most significant digital infrastructure projects in the country.

The Opportunity

You’ll lead the front-end development of new data centre sites — from site identification and feasibility through planning, permitting, and pre‑construction readiness. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you’ll ensure each project is technically robust, commercially viable, and aligned with regulatory and community expectations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead planning, permitting, and consenting strategies for new data centre developments.
• Support site acquisition and feasibility assessments alongside land, commercial, and development teams.
• Act as the pre‑construction lead across internal functions.

Qualifications & Expertise

• Chartered Engineer or Architect (or equivalent professional status).
• Significant experience in data centre design and/or project management.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams on complex technical projects.
• Strong knowledge of permitting processes, building systems, regulations, and construction methodologies.
