ELV Systems Engineer

Our client, a pioneer in next-generation digital infrastructure, is seeking an ELV Systems Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems across hyperscale data centre projects in Asia. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering mission-critical facilities that power some of the world’s largest enterprises and hyperscalers.

The Role

The ELV Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing end-to-end ELV design and implementation, acting as a key liaison with international clients, consultants, and contractors. The role requires strong technical expertise in ICT infrastructure, security systems, and structured cabling, alongside the ability to drive compliance with industry standards and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the design and implementation of ELV systems, including ICT infrastructure, structured cabling, security systems (TVRA, CCTV, ACS, ISMS, etc.), and video conferencing.
  • Guide and review consultants’ designs, tender documents, and technical submissions.
  • Provide technical support and act as the client liaison throughout the project lifecycle, with particular expertise in cabling infrastructure requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues during construction and commissioning.
  • Stay up to date with emerging ELV technologies and assess their potential application within data centre environments.
  • Support integration with BMS, BA, and fire systems where required.
  • Contribute to the adoption of intelligent automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in ELV system implementation, preferably within data centres or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record managing ELV systems through the full project lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin; able to work effectively across international teams.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving, coordination, and project management skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • High sense of accountability, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset.

Preferred Experience

  • Hands-on commissioning experience with mainstream ELV products.
  • Extensive exposure to large-scale data centre or high-precision factory projects.
  • Familiarity with construction testing and acceptance standards.
  • Understanding of large-scale electrical and cooling infrastructure.

The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to contribute to world-class data centre projects at scale while working with a global leader in digital infrastructure. The successful candidate will have the platform to influence design, drive innovation, and shape the future of intelligent data centre operations.
