Project Planner

Our client, a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centres, is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support the delivery of major construction projects across Asia and Europe. This role is central to ensuring accurate scheduling, progress reporting, and effective planning for both live and upcoming projects, directly contributing to the successful execution of mission-critical facilities.

The Role

The Project Planner will manage and update integrated construction schedules, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure accurate progress tracking and delivery. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing tender schedules, monitoring project performance, and recommending recovery strategies where delays occur. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, complex data centre developments in one of the world’s fastest-growing industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain integrated schedules using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress, produce reports, and share updates with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with contractors to assess progress and review construction methodologies.
• Prepare delay analyses and recommend recovery strategies.
• Develop detailed schedules, reports, and short-term planning documents.
• Liaise with vendors to confirm delivery schedules and lead times.
• Drive improvements in scheduling processes and reporting practices.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in a construction-related discipline, with training in MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Experience managing large construction projects with advanced scheduling knowledge.
• Strong commercial awareness of construction contracts and ability to document changes or delays.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
• Highly organised with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and planning abilities.
• Knowledge of contract compliance and safety requirements in large-scale projects.
